Dance is like meditation, the way to meet my true self. Actually over the years, it has become more frightening, yet it is the most precious moment to be fully present, facing myself. Whether you are ready or not: be in that space with yourself and express whatever arises in that moment. It’s scary because I don’t know what will happen, yet it’s full of surprises because anything can happen — and you are part of that creation. Step by step, the journey from your heart to your body and back again, returning to that very first step each day, has brought me to where I am now.
