The only condition that allows me to dance with joy is when I share everything unconditionally, when I am mentally completely present. It's with this possibility of sharing our vulnerabilities that dance makes me happy.
Audrey Desmurs studied contemporary dance in France at the Conservatoire de Dijon, the Manufacture d'Aurillac, the Centre Chorégraphique Calabash and the Cité Chorégraphique. Driven by a desire to experiment and curiosity, she trained in house dance, classical dance and jazz, and also continued her musical education. Her artistic journey is full of experimentation and discovery. She is inspired by friends and colleagues, most recently by Franck Laizet and the dancers of the Cité Chorégraphique.
