Rosalind Crisp
TENZA, Pfotenhauerstraße 59, 01307 Dresden
Choreographer and dancer Rosalind Crisp is considered one of Australia's most important and rigorous dance artists. In her masterclass for professional dancers and dance students, she teaches her practice of live composition. For over three decades, Crisp has developed an independent choreographic approach in numerous works, collaborations, and research processes that frees movement from fixed patterns and meanings and allows it to emerge anew in the moment. She has created more than 25 major works and has worked and taught internationally. Her ongoing studio practice has resulted in a precise compositional toolkit and a clear pedagogical approach, which she shares in this masterclass.
