With our dance piece “Geometry,” the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, in co-production with Hennermanns Horde, brings contemporary dance directly into the classroom and offers children a new, aesthetic encounter with shapes, lines, angles, and surfaces—right in the midst of their everyday school life.

The film accompanying the piece offers insights into the performance at the Franckeschule in Frankfurt, and in various interviews, those involved describe the rehearsal process and what it means to develop a piece for a classroom. “Geometry” premiered on January 21, 2026, at the Comenius School in Frankfurt.
